i think arrow should do a forgotten sci-fi collection, i think it would sell very well, there are alot of us and people out there who would love to see some old skool sci-fi available.

Here's what i would like to see.

No Blade Of Grass
Damnation Ally
Timerider
just to name a few.

anyone else interested, any films you wanna see get a release.

Yes, I agree with that choice.

I review DVDs and blu-rays for Interzone magazine, and it's often a struggle to get enough interesting sci-fi material even for the bi-monthly 'Laser Fodder' column. Seems to me there's an untapped market for old SF movies. It's disappointing that, although lots of old horror movies are being re-released and new stuff produced, but there's not very much sci-fi (except for TV series) to match it unless its action-packed (and brainless), or aimed at children.

Losey's The Damned was released on DVD, recently, and it was long overdue.

monolith monsters is available on one of those 50 movie sci-fi packs from the US but after pUrchasing the apocalypse 20 movie pack i would highly recommend not buying them, They state that they are digitally remastered but that's bullcrap, most of them are unwatchable, and due to the low budget of monolith monsters it would be defo be unwatchable. I want to see that one me self. I have a pretty good quality DVR of No blade of grass but it's always nice to have a proper dvd.

Oh yeah lots of Great and/or fun Sci fi films out there.

It'd be great to see a legit DVD release of the complete TV series Total Recall 2070. Often heard and read this is one of best 'screen' versions of Phil Dick's work... Not just the story that was a basis for Paul Verhoeven's Total Recall movie, but also drawing upon PKD's 'androids' novel which Ridley Scott filmed as Blade Runner.

A complete Max Headroom boxset would be a must-buy for me.
The 1985 TV movie was great fun, and the Americanised series (of 14 episodes) was not bad, either.

How about John McNaughton's THE BORROWER. Don't think it's had a DVD release in the UK?

I have two pirate copies of No Blade Of Grass, a cut version which is lovely quality, and an uncut version which is a bit shoddy. I'm yet to watch either of them, but the book from which they originate, The Death Of Grass, is a personal favourite of mine and I hope the film does it justice!

I have a reasonably nice print of the uncut version (including the Lynne Frederick rape scene). The film isn't bad at all (excellent Nigel Davenport performance plus lush Lake District photography) though Christopher's book is far better.
