I would like a Blu too.
If there was a big enough picture difference.

Arrow Video - The Beyond

In all honesty, if Arrow released say, Zombie Flesh Eaters on DVD and not blu, I'd be fine with that. The Beyond though is a work of art, and if anything would be deserving of blu it's this. Let's hope something comes up that makes it a possibility.

There's a few bloggers; tweeters; reviewers and podcasters here right? If we all do our bit, you never know....

i think...

Okay....Grindhouse started prepping the DVD for release but ran into problems. Tarantino's Rolling Thunder stepped in to help with a view to having theatrical distribution as well as a DVD release. However, Rolling Thunder is a subsidiary of Disney and there was no way they were having The Beyond on their roster. So, having prepared the DVD they approached Anchor Bay for a distribution deal, so as to distance the release from Disney.

Anyway...now I believe all rights are held solely by Grindhouse releasing.

Didn't Sage leave Grindhouse Releasing? I'm sure I heard a rumour to that effect.

This would be a definite buy from me if it were to be released on blu.

I wouldn't hesitate getting a blu if one were released.

A blu would be a definite purchase for me!

Put me down for a Blu-ray of The Beyond.

I'd buy a blu of The Beyond in an instant..........And Zombie Flesh Eaters........And House by the Cemetery.

There just aren't enough classic horrors on Blu.
