The Greek design is pretty good too though, i must admit!:) |
Snap! It'll be either the skull or Japanese art for me too.Ok guys, how many do we have that will be displaying Rick's art? |
I think it's hard to judge until you have the Finnish thing in your hands and can see what it looks like in the frame. I'm not keen on Rick's artwork and would probably go with the Japanese cover for the simple reason that I already own a DVD with the skull front but will reserve judgement until I have it in front of me. |
Although for me Ricks artwork doesn't represents the movie, I still quite like it. Its very tongue in cheek and sleazy (which I like). But I think I'll be going for the Skull cos I love that one so much. |
The skull artwork is probably the most iconic and the one that most people would associate with the film. Like you say, Rick's is just a little bit sleazy -- in a good way -- as it evokes the lurid VHS covers from the 1980s. |

It's the classic skull artwork for me. Rick's sleeve is hideous! |

8 Attachment(s) I know it's too late for additional art but I just found these (some of which were bootlegs). |
I love that 8th one the spanish video cover; The Three Mothers/Death taking the fiery curtain-call is my favourite image/sequence/ending in Argento's ouvre. |
