Artwork Poll: The House By The Cemetery (Blu-ray)
 

Arrow Video needs your help!

With the upcoming release of the Blu-Ray of Lucio Fulci's classic zombie film, The House By The Cemetery soon approaching, Arrow has asked us to help choose the artwork used for this release.

Below are 4 options, simply pick the one/s you prefer. The top three will be used for the artwork panels (see here for the 4th Arwork Panel). The artwork that gets first place will be crowned champion and will be the reverse artwork on the unlimited edition. Meanwhile, the artwork in last place will be used for the booklet.

Here's the catch though...

You only have 5 days to pick!

So, come on guys, help out Arrow and decide which artwork should go where.

C is my favourite by far, then D, A and B.

I love the 'mortgaged your life" tagline too. Shaping up to a be a top release this!

As for the poll, I'd say A, then C, D and waaay behind would be B.

Don't like any of his Fulci covers, his best work has been for stuff like THE DEADLY SPAWN, STREET TRASH, SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT.

B is a fabulous piece of artwork.

I liked Rick's art for this but feel that it would have been good if new original artwork had been used instead as this will be a double-dip for a lot of people I suspect and people already have the original Rick cover.

They could display the alternative art. :happy:

C, definitely C!

I honestly love that cover so much.

The excitement over these cover choices is forcing me to reconsider my "Hmm..maybe Arrow shouldn't bother with the Limited Editions any more" stance.

I voted for cover A! :rockon:

C for me, closely followed by A.I'm also not a fan of Rick's cover art for HBTC, that's why I have the original Vampix cover art on display on the Arrow DVD.

For me, it was A, very closely followed by C and D in joint second. Personally I can't stand cover B. Makes it look like some cheap '50s B-movie imho. :wacko:

I voted for "C" but "B" was a close second.

I had to vote D as I saw that poster as a kid and never got to see it, as far as I remember ;)

I'd be happy with A, C, or D. Not a fan of B at all.

Although it's multiple-choice, I decided just to vote for one: Artwork C, with Artwork A being my second option.

C is indeed the best, closely followed by D. A is also pretty good, whilst B is horrendous. :fear:

I voted A. That's my favourite. Least favourite is Rick's artwork. I'm sure he's a very good artist, but I've not really liked any of his custom artwork, with Maniac Cop being the worst. Why is Campbell's head in the middle of Maniac Cop's torso? Really, really hate it. I'm convinced Rick's artwork turns a lot of people off, instead of the reverse being true.

I'm now thinking that for the BD release, they should just go with those 4 original posters. Was never keen on Rick's art for this.

Both c and a are excellent choices.

A or B for me.

Rik's artwork is out there on the original Arrow release of the dvd.
I like it,but I'm a sucker for originals!

Artwork A is my favourite of the four original posters, followed closely by Artwork C. However, I prefer Rick's art and I would be saddened if it was to be excluded. Besides, it's tradition to have a newly commissioned cover alongside three original covers.

the artwork that comes with the blurays are always the best. i rarely change them.

I always change them round.

So the dual format is out today,and as usual,my HMV had feck all in stock,so I've ordered it from Zavvi.

So who's gonna post a reverse artwork shot please?:)

I should get my copy tomorrow. I'm thinking it will just be the same one that's on the Arrow dvd.

Oh well,here's hoping.Classic is best.

Saw it in HMV for £15 but am waiting for the Limited Edition so didn't pick it up. Couldn't see what the reverse was though.

Here we go, the reverse of the Unlimited Edition. Looks like I was wrong about it being the same one used on the reverse of the dvd. :)
