1 Attachment(s) Yep i read them all as a teenager, I remember Domain being more apocalyptic if i'm right. I read The Survivor and Jonah last year but went on a comic book binge for a bit of escapism during all the heavy shit going down during lockdown. Maybe i reed to get this as a go between. Attachment 232719 Actually screw that, have you seen how much it goes for.:nono: |
2 Attachment(s) I got this one http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/atta...1&d=1619087410 as it's been made into a film http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/atta...1&d=1619087477 |
2 Attachment(s) I've got another old copy of this, read that as a teenager too. Attachment 232722 I noticed this film the other day and thought the synopsis sounded similar, didn't realise it was actually based on the book, might have to watch that at some point. :thankingyou: It's these embossed Herbert and King covers that are really nostalgic for me. 1 Attachment(s) Thinking about it i'm pretty sure Herbert himself designed some of the early embossed covers as he was a designer before becoming a novelist, although i may have made this up, i read a book on him a few years ago. Attachment 232724 |
Nostalgic indeed never seen the front cover of Salem's Lot like that, mind you, you are a couple of years older than me , think Herbert did have a say in the designs. |
I've never read James Herbert :scared: |

You can often pick up his stuff at mill shop outlets at 3 for a fiver or places like The Works. |

That Salem's lot cover has a bit of a name that film going on, Nosferatu, a pic of the kid version of Oliver Reed from Hammers Curse of the werewolf, the two women from Vampyres and the cat biting kid from one of those portmanteau films i think. |
