Very nice Paul.... I definitely would encourage folks to pick up his collections. Lovecraft's prose can be a little tricky to get the hang of - most of his stories were written in the 1920's so a slight adjustment is required - but once you get in the door, his stuff is really special - this is really where modern Horror begins, and in terms of movies you can feel the unmistakable touch of Lovecraft in the likes of Horror Express, Dead & Buried, The Thing, Pan's Labyrinth and The Prestige... |
I have this one in a leather bound cover hardback Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales of H.P. Lovecraft: The Best Weird Fiction of H.P. Lovecraft GOLLANCZ S.F.: Amazon.co.uk: H.P. Lovecraft: Books |

Chill is terrible. The F/X are dire and most of the acting is pants. I felt sorry for Ashley Laurence for having to slum it in this film. |
Both previous comments make this a SOLD for me then.....;) |
