Awesome! There is one hell of a lot of reading there! The first five volumes ' A Long Time Ago'.. are the original Marvel comics complete. 'Wild Space' Vol 1 is the companion as it features stories from UK Star Wars Weekly that were not in the US comics. |
Beano’s Fatty to be renamed Freddy after 67 years over fears name is ‘mean’ / The Sun ...and then, by some strange and wonderful miracle, overnight school children all over the country stopped calling people who were a bit tubby "Fatty"! |
See you next Tuesday The only flaw in that plan,is that instead of saying " hey you fatty you c#&t..." They will just say " hey you Freddy, you obese C#&T"... well that's what I would do.... |
https://bloody-disgusting.com/comics...Y6XEyNwoBZzwSc Willy’s Wonderland’ Prequel Comic Releasing This Halloween Season The wacky, bloody world of this year’s Nicolas Cage-starring horror-comedy Willy’s Wonderland will be expanded upon with an upcoming comic, we’ve learned this afternoon! G.O. Parsons, who wrote Willy’s Wonderland, brings us the word that American Mythology Productions will be releasing the comic book, which will serve as a prequel to the film. Flashback scenes in the movie reveal that Willy’s Wonderland was formerly owned by a serial killer, whose sadistic partners in crime all transferred their souls into the animatronic characters on site through a satanic ritual. It’s not until Nicolas Cage’s character “The Janitor” shows up that they’re easily dispatched, though the comic will take place before he arrives. The tale will find its way onto comic book shelves October 2021. |

Blimey! I remember this comic from the 70's! Rebellion announce ‘Monster Fun’ – Britain’s newest on-going humour comic for kids! / 2000AD "Rebellion is proud to announce that Monster Fun will launch next year, the UK’s first all-new on-going humour comic for kids in 30 years! The first issue will debut in April 2022, with new issues every two months – perfectly designed for holiday entertainment, whether it’s Easter, half term, summer, or Halloween! The 32-page bi-monthly title is not only Rebellion’s first brand new title since it acquired the legendary 2000 AD in 2000, but also the first to be inspired by its mammoth archive of classic comics." |
2 Attachment(s) New 12 part series from DC. DC VS VAMPIRES Attachment 237995 Attachment 237996 We are two issues in at the moment and I am enjoying this. The series, like DCEASED is set out of norrmal continuity so anybody can die or be turned in to a vampire no matter who they are. A vampire lord has plans to rule the Earth. First the Injustice League and Lex Luthor are killed. The Justice League are another target. Batman and the rest of the Bat family meet to decide a course of action, listing the heroes that may pose the biggest threat to the vampires and that are likely to be taken out first. Little do they know that a member of the Justice League has already been turned and is setting about his murderous tasks.. |

what happens if superman is turned into a vampire , he needs the sun too power him, so would he just get weaker and be no more powerful than a normal vampire it's not like he can now go charge himself up flying too the sun! |
That's right. If Superman turns. Dead! Get him in the sun. Dead! That's the good thing about these out of continuity stories, no one is safe. |
1 Attachment(s) NEW Attachment 239764 WORLD'S FINEST #1 This is great. Set in the past, the comic captures the spirit, fun and action like comics used to be. Batman, Robin, Superman, Poison Ivy, Doom Patrol, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen.. ah man, this is so good, it's like reading a comic from the 1970's all over again. The creators have done an excellent job here which must have been a bit of a task trying to capture all that was good about comics going back. So, this is a new ongoing series which comes recomended as a pick up if you see it in your comic shop. I'm looking forward to issue #2. |
1 Attachment(s) The front cover to the October 1976 issue of 'Action Comic' Unsurprisingly, this was famously banned, removed from the shelves and pulped |
