Shameless in 2015?

Hello Shameless fans!

There's no denying that 2014 was one of Shameless' very best years, with a selection of great releases, screenings, the launch of the new shop and for the first time, some Shameless merchandise.

As we're in a new year now, what would you love to see Shameless release in 2015?

Leave your suggestions below!

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 30th January 2015 05:28 PM

Some films would be nice! :D

Death Laid an Egg for instance... ;)

Rik 30th January 2015 06:04 PM

SS Experiment Camp!!!!

Gold6082 30th January 2015 06:12 PM

Kill baby kill. shock. Absurd

R-T-C Tim 30th January 2015 06:16 PM

I always welcome anything previously unreleased (or at least films not yet released in the USA, or at least only released in dodgy VHS rips).

Given the volume of DVDs and Blu-Rays available, I would rarely if ever double-dip.

tele1962 30th January 2015 06:30 PM

I think more Blu Ray releases would be good.:)

Crimson Blade 30th January 2015 06:35 PM

What Have You Done To Solange?
Beyond The Door.

And would love a release of the Eerie Midnight Horror Show.

Demdike@Cult Labs 30th January 2015 06:36 PM

Do You Like Hitchcock?

You'll Die at Midnight

Paranoia

Any of the Camera Obscura films that go for extortionate prices on Diabolik because i haven't bought any yet. :D

MacBlayne 30th January 2015 06:36 PM

Would Beyond the Darkness get through the BBFC? Since watching the Stage Fright documentary on D'amato, I would like to see some of Aristide's finest.

And maybe Nightmares in a Damaged Brain. It's not the greatest but it has some interesting ideas and its history with the BBFC could allow for some decent extras.

Shameless don't do extras, you should know by now.

I quite enjoyed the interview with Luigi Cozzi on Four Flies on Grey Velvet.

Another vote for THE EERIE MIDNIGHT HORROR SHOW from me. Or a decent print of THE DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT.

I'd like to see Shameless return to their 'roots' and release more rare Giallo films - AMUCK! , SMILE BEFORE DEATH, CRAZY DESIRES OF A MURDERER etc.

More blu rays would be nice.

MacBlayne 30th January 2015 07:40 PM

How about Shameless branch into Category III Hong Kong films? If so, I recommend The Untold Story. Anthony Wong is magnificent in this.

However, I imagine the chopstick rape scene might still be a bit much for the BBFC.

Rik 30th January 2015 07:43 PM

I'd like to see them release more Italian Cannibal films, highly unlikely they'd pass through the BBFC, I've actually no idea why I'm writing this post

As you were people :)

Demdike@Cult Labs 30th January 2015 07:57 PM

Perhaps more leftfield but as they had / have Nouveaux 's catalogue perhaps a Suspiria blu and something like a Slumber Party Massacre box set. After all, they released Viva so stranger things have happened.

The BBFC cut Robotrix by almost 3 minutes last year, so i don't hold out much hope for Cat 3 films.

There's a US bluray apparently, but it's a Code Red release unfortunately. :D

platostotal 30th January 2015 10:35 PM

Well...

Cannibal Ferox (to sit next to Holocaust)
Testimone ocular (Lamberto Bava) Italian TV but really cool IMHO
Perfume of the Lady in Black
Satanic Rites of Dracula (rights to that will be cheap i.e. £0:lol:) a Shameless Hammer:nod:

and just about any good Giallo as well...

Crimson Blade 31st January 2015 12:56 AM

Would love a copy of Satanic Rites of Dracula.
I only have an old VHS tape of it that i recorded off the tv years a go. :(

I would imagine the family massacre in The Untold Story would be pretty troublesome for the BBFC too.

I'd be up for a Shameless release of D'Amato's gore classic, Beyond the Darkness.

Maybe, but since the violence isn't sexualised there it may slip through. It's hard to know with the BBFC. The French and Germans can slip their stuff through but the moment other foreigners attempt it they're slammed as being immoral.

Seriously? I saw it years back on the interwebz and thought such a film would be too silly to bother censoring.

MacBlayne 3rd February 2015 10:27 PM

The Psychic, although I prefer Murder to the Tune of Seven Black Notes for the title.

JAMIOUSE 9th February 2015 11:22 AM

So are Shameless going to get their shit together and actually release something in 2015? I'm fast losing patience with the company now.

Nordicdusk 9th February 2015 11:35 AM

How big or small are Shameless as a company. Is it a small few people working on a shoe string budget. Just out of pure interest.

Very small - just two guys as far as I am aware.

Really wow that's a lot of pressure for two people with the amount they have released. Must be a big financial strain on them. Any idea do they sell many units of their releases.

PaulD 9th February 2015 01:51 PM

Just more gialli basically. That's pretty much all I want. Anything that isn't available elsewhere would be ideal (like Formula For a Murder) for example. Extras secondary to great prints and interesting titles but welcome of course. HD upgrades to existing titles wouldn't go amiss but that seems to be the domain of other companies (88 Films, BU) presumably because of cost.

Not many because Kyle keeps giving them to me as comp prizes

You are the reason there are such big gaps between releases they are searching for titles you don't want.

Any new Shameless release would be welcome. However, here are five suggestions.

Roma a mano armata aka Brutal Justice/Assault With A Deadly Weapon (1976)
https://www.cult-labs.com/forums/att...1&d=1423499157

Vamos a matar, compañeros aka Companeros (1970)
https://www.cult-labs.com/forums/att...1&d=1423499157

Cosa avete fatto a Solange? aka What Have You Done to Solange? (1972)
https://www.cult-labs.com/forums/att...1&d=1423499157

El espanto surge de la tumba aka Horror Rises from the Tomb (1973)
https://www.cult-labs.com/forums/att...1&d=1423499157

La revanche des mortes vivantes aka The Revenge of the Living Dead Girls (1987)
https://www.cult-labs.com/forums/att...1&d=1423499157

platostotal 9th February 2015 05:01 PM

Yep to all those Prince, all would be cool yellow cases.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 9th February 2015 06:57 PM

Especially Solange.

Especially on Blu Ray!;)

I'm baffled as to why no one has mentioned this....

JAMIOUSE 9th February 2015 08:00 PM

Well it's certainly not the worst of the Nazi films!

Crimson Blade 10th February 2015 05:27 AM

Would love a Bluray of Gestapo's Last Orgy. BBFC permitting.

Cough!

R-T-C Tim 23rd February 2015 11:12 AM

Horror Rises from the Tomb would be a good one, there is a good print out there which was used on the BCI DVD, but that is out of print and even the naff Crash Media version is asking £25.00 on Amazon.

Classic Naschy - Horror Rises from the Tomb review.

Companeros is certainly a great Spaghetti Western, but not really a Shameless title, more politics than exploitation. Companeros review.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 30th March 2015 09:21 PM

Very nice interview with 'Mr.Shameless' in this month's Darkside mag.

Hawkmonger 31st March 2015 10:13 AM

Hang on, original material? In DARKSIDE?!
