That's a nice box set though, I have the one which is in current circulation with the simple black DVD cover designs, I really like it.

Mine are all those sturdy black slipcase individual seasons that came out each year. Same for Angel.

bleakshaun 19th May 2017 09:15 AM

well i've got seasons 2-7 like those, but the s1 i ordered is probably just the chunky case

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 19th May 2017 09:20 AM

Well, I don't have any seasons as I think the show is a bit crap really!

I like those ones as well, they pop up in CEX quite often but because I wanted all of the seasons to match and I couldn't guarantee getting them all I opted for the box set. It's surprising how many iterations of Buffy there are and they still sell now nearly 15 years since it finished!

Justin101 19th May 2017 09:25 AM

These aren't mine because I don't have any VHS tapes now but this gives you an idea

if only they did that with the dvds, that would look great

Demdike@Cult Labs 19th May 2017 09:46 AM

All my X-Files vhs box sets have similar spine designs.

I still have all those videos myself. I was such a buffy fan when it first aired on sky 20 years ago and used to tape every episode. I even started collecting the merchandise including books, Magazines, action figures and all sorts of random stuff which i still have stored away.

Demdike@Cult Labs 19th May 2017 02:09 PM

I just have two figures, well three really as the Gentlemen was a dual pack. The other was Drusilla.

platostotal 19th May 2017 05:36 PM

As I recall the Buffy VHS boxes were 2 to a season and £24.99 each (ouch) so £50 a season, I got my sets from WH Smiths when they had a promotion on Buffy - BOGOF so £25 a season, now I only have seasons 2,3,4 on dvd cause they're the fun years IMHO.

What Trebor says.

The one on the right also has the Robert Powell ghost stories series on it. Those of us who bought the initial set (on the left) had to buy the individual release of the Powell series.

Besides DVD Compare doesn't list the 7 disc set.

They did in Australia, the designs are identical.
These days they're all slimline ones in the shops, but the ones I have are exactly like that and take up an entire shelf! I've thought of moving into them slimline cases for the sake of space, but they look so pwetty...

It is included in the complete B5/Crusade boxset though, although the set doesn't have the special edition of The Gathering, so not really complete [emoji57]

Sorry, i have Crusade. I counted that as a series. I think i've seen Legend of the Rangers, the title rings a bell.

There's also The Lost Tales.

Demoncrat 20th May 2017 02:14 PM

Picked up The One on UK dvd
So that's the Stafam collection complete;)
Fate notwithstanding.

Picked up another Ed Hunt film...the rather loony The Brain: Mind Over Matter split Hollywood dvd (with Hollow Point, a film I cannot find on imdb haha)
I digress.
Hunt's films are always worth a look. Cough Bloody Birthday for example ....;)

God of war 1 + 2 and III then ascension , I'll google to see if anymore for PS not any handheld devices.

gag 21st May 2017 07:53 PM

Think over next few weeks instead of random buys or what ever I can find in cex charity shops or where ever, I sort out my films and buy what I need to finish of completions .
I've got most of Argento, Cronenberg, Tarantino see what I've missing same goes for films where there few of them , like Final destinations etc .
