Picked up The Other and Manchurian Candidate in HMV today. My HMV sucks, didn't have new 88 releases so ordered up Mothers Day and should get Slaughterhouse from the indiegogo campaign. Nothing yet though.

Picked up Slaughterhouse from my local HMV - they had 'Mother's Day' too but I'm not the hugest fan of the film and have a serviceable German DVD so may sit that one out and save the cash for the likes of 'Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers' and 'Splatter University' (although I could yet weaken!!)

In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing 'Slaughterhouse' in HD, having only ever previously seen it on a VHS rip. I remember enjoying it back then but can remember barely anything of it!

Have you had a chance to check the quality of Night of the Blood Beast Dave?

I notice that one's on Alpha.

No, it is on it's way Dem. I was directed to the Alpha version because I was told it was the best quality of the two versions out there.

Alpha tend to be pretty poor transfers. At least the ones i have owned have been.
