Got a text this morning saying "sorry, your order is no longer available, please return to the shop for a refund". So you can imagine how pissed I am!

Thete's 2 reviews on amazon & a photo of a bloke in Fopp holding a copy so somebody must have got it from somewhere, but seriously!!!!

Stop with the limited editions
And HMV: Just stop!!!

I'm not paying £333 on ebay for it.
Think i'll stick with my Australian dvds & the bfi disc of the first one.

Forgive my ignorance, but are you saying that the Criterion Godzilla collection is a strictly limited edition set?

Lawdy!!

For me, I will never preorder again, as I still await my Dorado Franco set. 3 years and counting cough.

It is yes, people are hoping that a more shelf friendly version gets a release later dwn the line.

Ironically, I thought it wasn't but it seems like it is.

Just tried to order it from zoom, every time I go to paymnt it says " not secure", tried to delete from basket but wont let me. Have requested account delete.

Can you pay with Paypal? I use zoom all of the time and they are 100% safe.

Ive so far tried to delete it from my basket 20 times & it wont let me. Do not use. Basically the lesson today is criterion, hmv, zoom and anyone involved in this shit can go and get trading standards up their ass. No wonder physical media is dead.

When its this hard to just buy a dvd, just give up.
