It's RZ's attempt at exploitation and you have the same characters at least the 'mouthier' 'white-trashier' 'larger than life' ones kidnapping, torturing and murdering people whilst on the road rather than in the comfort of their own home.

That's only the first half hour though. The rest is them holed up with the law after them and other non-horror stuff.
