I'd love to go multi-region for Blu-ray, but I'm just totally skint at the moment and the little cash I have goes on Blu-rays. Sony were determined to put strict region coding in place with Blu-ray (HD DVD had no region coding whatsoever).
I'm a bit annoyed that Sony had such a hand in the creation of Blu-ray, as they're also a film studio and thus have a bias. And yet, having insisted on such rigid coding, nearly all Sony releases are region-free. Go figure. :loco: |
