Oh yeah so it is, trust me to not even look at the release date. :dizzy:

What's the actual film like then, is it average, good or great? :ohwell:

One of Romero's best IMO Ant.

Crazies is an absolute must have! Need to get my hands on the Blu Ray as well! Bought it on DVD at the end of last year from cultfictionmovies in Edinburgh.

The Crazies is definitely a must in any cult collection. The Blu-ray looks as good as it ever will and certainly an upgrade from the DVD. Special features are the same as the collection found on the previous DVD, except the two-disc steelbook from a couple of years ago had a bit more to offer.

Nonetheless, The Crazies on Blu-ray is a worthy purchase -- it receives my seal of approval. :thumb: It's one of Romero's best along with Night, Dawn, and Day. But then again, I also love Season of the Witch (aka Jack's Wife) and Martin too.

Some Clint Eastwood titles being released on blu-ray in June by Warner so these will be region free.

Absolute Power
Heartbreak Ridge
The Rookie
Kelly’s Heroes/Where Eagles Dare
The Enforcer/Sudden Impact

A little dissapointed that Where Eagles Dare is being released in a double feature as it would have been nice to have it in a full blown special edition.Boo to Warner as well for the artwork for these, only The Rookie and Absolute Power have anything resembling the original poster artwork and even then, they've been slightly altered.

And another Eastwood classic released soon.........Hang 'Em High. With it being an MGM catalogue title,it could very well be region free.
