Porno Holocaust

Pointless trashy junk. Best forgotten.

This is low grade sub B movie and TV film rubbish that I've already wasted too much time watching and now telling you about. :(

UGH Yeah thats from the Turdmongers THE ASYLUM

Murderer - Aaron Kwok getting his thesp on, damn good film to be honest.
Fatal Move - All the Sammo talk made me want to see the great man, not as good as SPL but still very enjoyable.

Going to see Descent 2 tonight :fear:

Yeah I liked DOG BITE DOG as well

BioZombie 3rd December 2009 10:19 PM

I just came back from watching Law Abiding Citizen I really liked it alot right up to the very end when imo a weak finale wrapped things up a little too neatly. Apart from that however it a fun revenge/miscaridge of justice film with some great flourishes. Hopefully this will be the first of more 18 rated genre material as this has been doing great buisness at the cinema I work at.

pedromonkey 4th December 2009 03:49 PM

i watched ILSA: SHE WOLF OF THE S.S last night, it wasn't bad, although they could have called Carry on Nazi, but my god has Dyanne Thorne got some tattybojangles on her....

The Dam Busters

The most fitting tribute to the great and sadly missed Richard Todd.

I've still yet to see this Vince. I know it'll be shit; but it's just one of those films that you just have to see to satisfy your curiosity! Plus you never know: I might like it!

Personally I thought it was one of the worst films I've ever seen. Absolutely pathetic tripe from beginning to end, and belongs in a black bag with the rest of the garbage.

Not a favourite then Vince?!

Whatever I ultimately think of it; I'm definitely going to have to give this a shot in the near future...

Rob Strange 4th December 2009 09:09 PM

Joe D'amato - that explains it. Very funny title, though.

Saw The Box tonight really enjoyed it. If you liked Donnie Darko I suggest going to see this. It has a creepy twilight zone atmosphere and is complex enough to leave you asking questions as you leave the cinema.

the Atrocity Circle

watched this last night

http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/a...ont20cover.jpg

a sov underground gore/exploitation film from the maker of the Mutilation Man, very amateurish makes some of the German splatter seem professional, far too much relying on flashbacks of the gang rape. I feel it will become an underground classic but should stay very much underground (prefereably with 5 tonnes of earth on top of it).

if you want sov gore then seek out un-naturally born killers, savage harvest, 555 scrapbook, ice from the sun or some German splatter:laugh:

Kyle 5th December 2009 08:11 AM

i wanted to watch that! dont think ill bother now :ohwell:

I rented this and another movie called AQUANOIDS years ago.Only watched a bit of both of them but CREATURES looked alright/fun .AQUANOIDS didnt look to hot.

Pete 5th December 2009 02:43 PM

I saw the trailer for Aquanoids and it didn't look good.

It ended up as a £Land cheapie.

Gigantor 5th December 2009 02:47 PM

Wow a whole pound:lol:
Did you see AQUANOIDS?

vincenzo 5th December 2009 07:02 PM

I enjoyed Creature From The Abyss too Gigantor. Good silly fun. I have Aquanoids here which is equally absurd/enjoyable.

Dont read below if you've yet to see Time Crimes spoilers ahead.
Dead Alive it shows you in the film how it works. There is a diagram of a time line that doubles back on itself. This film takes the idea that there is a single time line that cannot be changed (not mutiple timelines that are altered when you go back and change something ie Back to the Future). If everything is already mapped out (or has already happened) then it is perfectly possible for the start of a set of events to be chronolically after events that occur later in the time line. There are not really 3 hectors there is one hector on a time line that doubles back on himself twice. From a viewers perspective it looks like a loop but from Hectors persepctive there is no loop. After Hector has gone all the way though the switch back time line he will come out the other end and time will continue for him as a straight line (unless he gets in another time machine).
Thats my take on it anyway hope that helps (alhough I sill find it a little hard to grasp myself :noidea:)

pedromonkey 7th December 2009 02:57 AM

Just sat down and watched First Blood, for the first time in years, i forgot how badass that film was. It's a shame because although 2+3 are good, they're way too over the top, FB was a small film about a tortured soul who can achieve insane heights of brutality when pushed over the edge, but 2+3 were just an excuse to see how much of a bodycount each film can rack up, don'y get me wrong i still absol-****ing-lutley love the Rambo films but they have never topped the awesome levells of Awesomeness that First Blood did

Gigantor 7th December 2009 06:05 AM

BLACK DYNAMITE This movie was done really well and I was really glad it didnt get to silly.

Kyle 7th December 2009 07:36 AM

I watched Combat Shock a few days ago, it was depressing but totally compelling. The extreme low budget adds to the whole scuzzy feel of the film. I was impressed by the special effects as they were ecellent considering how low budget the rest was (the creepy agent orange deformed baby is a good example). The whole thing is like some kind of waking nightmare and reminded me alot of Eraserhead, Taxi Driver and thematically Rambo. Lloyd Kaufman calls it one of Tromas 'masterpieces' and I'm inclined to agree.

I watched this not long ago too BZ, and pretty much felt the same way. An extremely harrowing yet gripping film IMO.

Cheers for that, BZ, it is all as clear as mud to me now.

I'm going to buy a copy of this soon to give it multiple viewings. I may even watch it in twenty minute segments working backwards like "Memento" to see if it holds up.
