Annoying Actors

Which actors or actresses make you want to scream and not in a good way? Who can turn a great movie average or guarantee that the movie will not be worth watching?

For me, it has to be Tim Roth for ruining the last scene in 'Pulp Fiction', playing the least credible Van Gogh in 'Vincent and Theo' and the awful Emil Blonsky in the woeful 'Incredible Hulk'.

I'd never get tired of punching him.

Gojirosan 20th January 2011 05:59 PM

Will Ferrell
Vin Diesel
Harrison Ford
Julia Roberts
Chuck Norris
Steven Seagal
Edward Norton
Susan George
Adam Sandler
Steve Martin
Jim Carrey

BioZombie 20th January 2011 06:14 PM

I really can't stand Mark Whalburg in anything, not sure why.

Inspector Tanzi 20th January 2011 06:19 PM

Wings Hauser
Hugh Grant
Russell Brand
John Wayne

ArnoGoldfinger 20th January 2011 06:25 PM

Yeah, 'Big gay' Vin Diesel and Harrison Ford for mutilating Indianna Jones with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. 'The Jerk' (Steve Martin) would probably make my top ten funnies but that was a long long time ago. Would Van Dame make your list too?

Gojirosan 20th January 2011 06:35 PM

No, oddly Van Damme doesn't bother me so much, and he was in both Hard Target and JCVD which I think are fine films.

Agree on all of those above.

Add to that list the seemingly universally hated Russell Brand (although I wouldn't exactly label him an 'actor', more a 'twat'), and also, I'm guessing not a popular choice: DiCaprio - a terrible actor in my opinion.

GoreFreak91 20th January 2011 07:46 PM

Mel Gibson... he is a Rascist pos. The most dangerouse thing you can do is give him a Bottle of Scotch and a Microphone.

I'd have to say that I like every one of those. I will add to the ever growing list of those who don't likw Russell Brand though.

I have to disagree. He's still a legend. Hollywood can give work to a convicted Paedophile like the director Victor Salva and Gibson is the antichrist and ostricised for a drunken rant and allegations of domestic violence from a woman obviously out to get every penny she can from him?

Salva served his time and has reformed. Thus he should be allowed to work again freely.

Gibson is a nasty piece of work with a lot of dangerous views for which he is unrepentant. He's a scumbag.

Ah well, each to his own. I don't have a problem with him.

So, if you had a son that got "touched" or worse by him and he went to prison for it, when he got released would you say "It's ok, he's reformed now".

Was McGuire in owt else but Spiderman?

Paul@TheOverlook 20th January 2011 08:31 PM

Strange that someone can be so critical of someone as obviously troubled as Gibson but is willing to brand Victor Salva "reformed".

Obviously Gibson needs help - he's not the full ticket and his past actions have ruined his career. People that are in the public eye should set an example and if they behave in an unacceptable way shouldunderstand that their career is over.

Salva abused his position as a director of a film to engage in a sexual act with a minor. "Reformed" or not, he should never have been allowed to direct a film again, in my opinion.

Colin Firth is douche....he plays the same posh prick character in every film and as for What a Girl Wants, i watched that through Gritted teeth just to show my support to the lovely Miss Bynes.

As for Sean Penn, the man only makes films to win awards....cock if you ask me......

And anyone who says calls Amanda Bynes annoying will have me to deal with. That's if you admit to watching one of her films! :tongue1:

Paul@TheOverlook 20th January 2011 08:42 PM

I read that one of the supporting characters from the TWILIGHT films was at hotel in Birmingham for one of the geek-outs at the NEC where he was signing or whatever. There was a wedding party in the same hotel - a number of the blokes beet the crap out of the Twilighter in the bog.

It did make me wonder. Was this an isolated incident or were these guys intending to work their way through the entire cast? Here's hoping for the latter.
