Nightbreed
Boone has nightmares about midian, he goes to see his Psychiatrist who tells him he's a Murderer. Boone flees to Midian and meets the creatures from his dreams.
OK, I've got to admit I enjoyed this, I'm not going to say it has lived up to expectations and it does drag a bit. Also can't Danny Elfman do a different type of soundtrack that isn't sandwiched between Batman and Batman Returns.
There I said it, I enjoyed this. Go ahead make fun of me damn it. [emoji23]

The Burning 1981.

At a summercamp few teens decide to pull a prank on the caretaker Crospy, which backfires and is horribly burned. 5 years later Cropsy is released from hospital and goes on a killing spree at another camp.

One of those video nasties from the 80s and produced by...well we know who made this so nuff said about that. Aside it's still a great movie and has young stars that are popular Jason Alexander, Fisher Stevens and Holly Hunter. The make up created by Tom Savini who admitted that he wasn't given a lot of time to create his best work but what we got was decent and a nice background score by Rick Wakeman, to me the raft scene did give out a great blood fest.

Not seen any films yet but the Halloween (2018) soundtrack cd has been my musical accompaniment all day. In the car, at home and for the past couple of hours in the garden whilst i tidied it up taking out old summer plants, weeding, collecting leaves and so forth.

I don't mean like an IPOD musical accompaniment. I mean blasting out of car speakers, home speakers and the stereo in my summer house.

A underrated Hammer tale. Atmospheric and well acted , none of the big two here but does have Hammer stalwart Michael Ripper. 8.5/10

A superior slasher that's just in my opinion is better than some of the more well knowing films. Bags of atmosphere and some really great kills and gore. Little predictable whom the killer was. 9/10

Tonight's viewings

Sleepy Hollow
Halloween 3
Angel Heart

I’m stuck for what to watch tonight, definitely Hocus Pocus, then either Halloween 4, Sleepy Hollow or The Crow.

I’ve got to have some ‘Family Time’ right in the middle of the evening which throws a spanner in the works lmao...

Trick 'r Treat (2007)

Twelve solid years of tricks and treats and still Michael Dougherty's film remains as good as ever. Perhaps the finest portmanteau horror ever made, the different story strands blend seamlessly and with each viewing a different segment becomes my favourite. This time it was the werewolves.

A genuine Halloween treat.
