I hope that Jennifer and Tiffany don't have the same kind of relationship that Jane and Blanche have in 'Whatever Happened To Baby Jane'. If they do, things could become very dicey for Jennifer!

It's possible that there is a new version of 'The Seed Of Chucky' coming soon

MelonFarmers has got mention of a 'unrated directors cut' which features two commentaries (Writer/director Don Mancini and Actress Jennifer Tilly and also Writer/director Don Mancini and Puppet Master Tony Gardner)

As far as I'm aware, the previous release (DVD only) featured the 'R' rated theatrical cut and a single commentary (Mancini and Tilly), so maybe this means there is an extended Blu-Ray version of the film in the pipeline

Not that it would make a poor film any better!

If Disney made 'Child's Play'...

July 3rd, 2018 - MGM Fast-tracks 'Child's Play' Remake With a "Technologically Advanced" Killer Doll - Bloody Disgusting

But there's more

July 5th, 2018 - 'Child's Play' Creators Moving Forward On TV Series With Brad Dourif Amidst Reboot Announcement [Exclusive] - Bloody Disgusting

Stephen@Cult Labs 5th July 2018 04:38 PM

Hope the remake is a disaster. Completely pointless. Dourif won’t be doing it and the creators have refused to give it their blessing.

gag 5th July 2018 05:54 PM

Tbh that really doesn't tell you anything about the tv series really. That we haven't known for sometime.
Was expecting to see something of round about when it's going to air .

iank 5th July 2018 09:56 PM

Does seem utterly pointless. Are they just using the name "Child's Play"? Why bother? It's not a remake when they can't even use Chucky.

He did the voice of the Joker for years in Batman cartoons, so can see it being very simular

Yeah, so in other words it sounds like they're going with a Dourif rip-off.
Oh dear.

Seen this online,

There seems to be a bit of confusion floating around about the UK broadcast of the series, as both Don Mancini and Devon Sawa posted on social media the show would be coming next week or the week after… Unfortunately, they’re a little off with their timings. Whilst Sky has picked up the series, the actual broadcast is likely to take a little longer to fit into the schedule. From what I hear, it’s most likely landing in December 2021 on Sky Max, but they are still sorting out the scheduling,

Seriously ffs, no just 🛑 stop.

https://www.ihorror.com/chucky-might...iaXL_GPervp1oE

In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, creator Don Mancini dropped the possibility of a crazy path for Chucky’s future. This extends to crossovers – and outside the box world-building. Namely, there is a possibility that Chucky might be headed to outer frickin’ space.

Jason did it, Pinhead did it, Leprechaun did it. It’s a trend in franchises that usually occurs post shark jump. If you ask us, Chucky is long overdue for a trip to space. Let the guy slaughter some folks in zero G. He deserves it.

” I think as a character he’s versatile enough and appealing enough and interesting enough that he could probably go anywhere, even into outer space.” Mancini told Comicbook.com. “Which is the one thing, I think once I jokingly said something about sending Chucky into space, although I do think it would be a fun movie. … I think ‘X Goes to Space’ is usually a barometer for jumping the shark. But I mean, who wouldn’t want to see Chucky in a little space suit with a helmet, sort of like floating?”

Let’s get this dang Chucky in space show on the road, y’all. Ever since Seed of Chucky all bets are off for any sort of seriousness in the franchise. So, why not introduce this sort of next level goofy fun?

Chucky is currently on its second episode on Syfy. Catch it on Tuesdays.

Jason I get how they done that, Pinhead in space was something I wouldn't understand but decent story to the franchise and a good film. I never saw Leprechaun in space I can't tell you much about the second film  but Chucky is space seriously wtf are they thinking, what will they do attack a space station then leave him there?it could end up being a rip-off from Alien. :nono::nono:

Lachlan Watson Playing Glen/Glenda in “Chucky” Season 2! / Bloody Disgusting

"Glen / Glenda will return in “Chucky” Season 2, the website Pride.com officially announced today, with Lachlan Watson (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) taking on the roles!

Glen / Glenda was of course the genderfluid child of Chucky and Tiffany, referenced in the first season of “Chucky” but not actually shown on screen since the film Seed of Chucky.

No word yet on how Glen / Glenda will be reintroduced, but last we saw the original doll character had been split into two human bodies. Stay tuned for more as we learn it."
