Your boy turns up in Brett Callwood's Stooges book btw gushing unreservedly like the fanboy he is ...at the same time making sure we don't forget that he served in those same trenches ;)

Whilst I have reservations about a book supposedly about the S band which came emblazoned with a solo Iggy photo
I know also realise that this should have been posted elsewhere ....

apologies ...

No, no - it's fine here, although I originally thought you were referring to The Three Stooges!

Alice has regularly spoken about his friendship with bands like Iggy and The Stooges and The MC5. These bands all came out of Detroit around the same time and often played on the same bill together.

Alice has described the Stooges as the only band he`d ever not wanted to go on after, due to the way Iggy 'drained' or wore out an audience.

Speaking in November 1995, and featured in 'Ruta 66' magazine, Iggy says of Alice: "I love the music and the things he does on stage. We're very good friends since a long time ago. We used to share the same stage at the same nights (and the same bad experiences, too!). Alice and his boys were support to us [The Stooges] many times. The first time I saw them playing, I said to myself "Hell! They're making more noise than we are!".
After the gigs, we went to the parties which filled the Detroit's nights. There were always a couple of parties to go every night at Detroit. Do you know Alice is big fan of The Stooges? I remember Alice had few albums and, one time, I went to visit him in New York and I found he had fifteen copies of "Funhouse"! Then he told me this album was one of his favourites albums, and that he played it all the time, finally scratching it. For this reason, he bought several copies of the same LP. A short time ago, I gave a new copy of "Funhouse" to Alice, but now it's a CD! In that way he'll never scratch it again!""

Alice will be a guest on Chris Evans Breakfast show this Friday...I'm pretty sure he may of been on there before, mainly because of there mutual love of golf..Anyhow whatever you may think of Evans he normally does a good interview.

Very nice, but don't wear them because they are flammable, which is why they stopped being included with the album!

There were actually three different colours - Blue, Pink and White

Was it general practice for Cooper fans to set their underwear on fire at the time?

It seems odd to withdraw them for being flammable.

Doesn't seem to be too bad a price

They tend to go for over 3x that amount on places like E-Bay
