Listening to the new Enslaved album I'm not too sure what i think yet i might need a few listens. I really like the vocals both clean and harsh but there is something a bit off can't put my finger on it.

I really like it if you mean Utgard. There's no immediacy to it, it's one of those you have to invest in.

I listened to the new Benediction a couple of times this afternoon. The streamed stuff sounds good but when you close the curtains and listen to it on cd through headphones it absolutely crushes. The sound quality is phenomenal.

Yeah think your right about Utgard i had it on while i was getting dressed to pop out.

I love Utgard too, it's not catchy but it's great if you give it the time.

A song for an instance like that should be something like Satyricon's Fuel for Hatred or Darkthrone's Hiking Metal Punks.
