I know, but it's true, we can't all like the same music. The fact you can hear something a year down the line and sport a different judgment is good.

I was surprised by the cd booklet notes. They are like a bloomin' novel explaining Egyptian burial rites and how they are incorporated into the music.

The Blood Incantation booklet was like that on their last album like a guide to life beyond the stars. I love when a band goes that extra mile.

Darkthrone recommend me albums to buy whilst Nile tell me how to embalm someone.

I'll have to buy some Burzum cd's then the Nile booklet will be very useful. ;) :pound:

The burzum booklets will probably teach you how to live in the wilderness while at the same spouting race propaganda

Ah, really. Nah forget that. I said Burzum due to what he was imprisoned for.

Its mostly nature and Odin just avoid his books if you want to avoid his more extreme ideas.

Back in the day i had Filosofem (Is that what it was called?) Thought it was shite, just a crappy keyboard album.

I'd never think of buying a Burzum album now. Just too much other stuff of interest. Probably ranks in my must buy wish list somewhere around Justin Bieber, Little Mix and Ed Sheeran.

If you hated that you should hear the albums he released while in prison

Ohhhh Boy

I like Filosofem personally but anything after that isn't worth the time or effort. The first few albums are great though, particularly Hvis Lyset Tar Oss. For all of his sins and outlandish opinions, he did have a very unique vision for extreme metal and influenced many to come.
