Time to retire, he's clearly too ill for gigging these days

It could have been worse, they could be selling Lemmy strap-on, sex warts!

"The latest MOTÖRHEAD walk-off follows a similarly abbreviated performance last week in Salt Lake City, where the band cited the high altitude as the reason behind Lemmy's inability to breathe. A show in Denver, at an even higher altitude, was scrapped the following day before MOTÖRHEAD ever took the stage.

Lemmy, who turned 69 years old in December, in 2013 suffered a haematoma (where blood collects outside of a blood vessel), causing the cancelation of a number of the band's European festival shows. The band has since scrapped a couple of tours and, during the 2013 edition of the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, abandoned its set midway through so Lemmy could be taken to the hospital."

Motorhead's new album Bad Magic has just charted at number 10.

Their highest new entry since Iron Fist in 1982. :rockband:

....................

I wonder why The Number of the Beast has a re-entry at number 21?

I suspect it's due to new fans buying the Book of Souls on sites like Amazon and Beast being a suggestion

Wouldn't be surprised if a few more "classic" Maiden albums pop back in the charts over the next few weeks

Maiden fans be aware!
Kerrang cover today - take the horrible plastic bag off to reveal quite a spiffy Bruce Dickinson cover!

Classic Rock - 17!!!! covers, one for each album, pick the one you like the most, Morissons only had Iron Maiden, Killers, Stranger, No Prayer and Matter of...

Those poor poor OCD Maiden fans have to shell out a fiver for each cover to collect them all!

ANOTHER NUMBER ONE ALBUM FOR THE MIGHTY IRON MAIDEN. :glitter:

http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart/

It sold 30,000 more copies than the number two album.

Tesco have been selling the album on vinyl in stores.

Rik 11th September 2015 05:09 PM

Well deserved too, it's the best album since 7th Son IMO

Looks like it's not only Lemmy who is under the weather at the moment

The Who have had to cancel all the dates on their American tour because Roger has been diagnosed as having viral Meningitis

Postponed 2015 North American Tour - The Who

GET WELL ROG

Oh, and before the idiots come here, saying "The Who are not metal, so they should not be in this thread", all I can say is, The Who were metal before the term existed!
