I saw them on the 'Decade Of Aggression' tour in 1991 at the Portsmouth Guildhall, which is a smallish venue, holding about 2,000 people.

Their lighting rig was so huge, it not only covered the stage area, but also extended halfway into the auditorium over the audience

They are, without doubt, the most intense band I have ever seen - after about 20 minutes, I was exhausted, and had to sit down!!

They were also incredibly loud, but the sound was crystal clear

I agree about Repentless, great album, but nothing comes close to the Unholy Trinity of Reign in Blood, South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss

I’m in the same boat actually but last year I decided life is too short to miss gigs by my favourite artists because I’ve got no one to go with and started going on my own!

Metallica to re-release ‘The $5.98 EP - Garage Days Re-Revisited’ | Planet Rock

I think I have got the original release somewhere, but this new version is going to be the full one, including the cover of Killing Joke's 'The Wait' which wasn't on the previous UK one

I suppose some will buy it as it's for record store day but the whole thing is available on the Garage Inc. album as well.

I’ve got the 1987 US disc so already have the vinyl and the extra song! It was 30 years ago though so there are a lot of fans who will be pleased to get this. Especially if it’s the original packaging which if I recall has loads of pictures and a bit of writing by the band.

Magnum's new album Lost on the Road to Eternity has charted at #15.

It's their highest album placing since 1990's Goodnight LA which reached #9.

Speaking of new albums, Machine Heads latest came out today so I’ve been streaming it on Spotify seeing as HMV only sent my CD/DVD set yesterday!
Despite the bad reviews it’s been getting, I think it’s a decent effort and even though it’s 75 minutes long, it doesn’t feel like it because there’s 15 tracks and the majority are short by Machine Heads recent standards

Kaleidoscope was a good song but the rest of what i've heard has been disappointing. Odd that the song i liked best seems to be an out take from their Supercharger album (it isn't) which nobody rated at the time.

Is the dvd a full concert?
