They were a very underrated band. Presumably most people here will know them from the song that they did which was featured in the 'Elm Street' movie

I saw them live, back in the 80's, but I can't remember who they were supporting. FM maybe

Behemoth - I Loved You At Your Darkest

Gorgeous 'Digibook' edition with amazing photogaphy inside that look like Caravaggio paintings!

The way the CD holder/envelope opened out made me laugh haha

A Blaze... was my introduction to black metal and it scared the shit out of me as a 15 year old. I miss 1992/3 when I think about how much fun I had discovering so many new bands.

It wasn't the first for me, the first album was Hordaland Doedskvad, and then it was In the Nightside Eclipse, darkthrone didn't come till later for me, but that album still sticks.

Bathory's Under the Sign of the Black Mark was the first one i heard. Borrowed it from a mate.

The first one i bought was Blood, Fire, Death from the same band.

I believe Quorthon had moved on from using empty bean cans as drums though.
