That's quite an eclectic mix – I never thought I'd see Marilyn Manson and Patsy Cline in the same post!

I bought the Patsy Cline collection because her music is very very creepy, it comes from watching too many horror flicks... Just imagine the track below playing as a psycho is massacring a room of people in a slow mo montage.

I replaced it with the CD years ago. Sold off a lot of my vinyl a long time ago, only really kept my Iron Maiden stuff, which is worth around £3000 at last count!

A Ron Goodwin double cd from another local charity shop, mainly for the Frenzy theme!

They started as a Death Metal band and gradually turned into a Symphonic Metal group. They've now got a female lead singer who is a qualified opera singer.

This particular album (Les Fleurs du Mal) is not standard Therion, though. It's a collection of covers of 60's French Chansons turned into Symphonic Metal. I very much like it.

Here are three 'typical' Therion songs:

Therion - Abraxas live in Krasnodar 24.10.12 - YouTube

Therion - The Rise of Sodom and Gomorra - YouTube

Therion - Via Nocturna - YouTube
