Hey I was looking for that H2 mediabook you mentioned on elektrocity (I take it its DVD not BD?) but could only find this rather awesome looking "3D hologram" steelbook of H2 :p

Oh and I too love that artwork reaps, very stylish!!

Stephen@Cult Labs 12th March 2011 07:35 PM

Looks like the H2 mediabook is no longer available, at Elektrocity anyway.

Does anyone know if the german dvd's of EXTERMINATORS OF THE YEAR 3000 (as THE EXECUTOR) and Antonio Margheriti's TORNADO (under the title of IM WENDEKREIS DES SOLDNERS) are English friendly?

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 16th March 2011 07:27 PM

You back on the hardbox trail mate?

Try on here.......

Google Translate

bdc 16th March 2011 07:36 PM

Both seem to be cut and not English friendly...Tornado is supposed to have horrible pic quality as well...

That's a shame, I don't think I'll ever find a decent version of TORNADO :(. Thanks for the info :)

For those who want just the blu-ray of Dellamorte Dellamore from Eightyfour Entertainment (without the dvd and cd).

Dellamorte | Dellamore | Single Blu Ray | 84 Entertainment |

For anyone who doesn't want to pay the £100 for the Monster Squad 4 hardbox set, this one is also available on it's own.

PaulRobinson 21st March 2011 02:59 PM

Have any of you guys (or gals) ever ordered from Torsten, aka Bambo2000?

He sells on Filmundo (I Cant verify my age without a German passport??) and has some pretty good titles! I wish Filmundo was easy

Nemesis 23rd March 2011 10:54 AM

Reaps, I know absolutely nothing about where to begin with German hardboxes. What's the best place to start and where does one get them from - I've heard about about Elektrocity; how good are they and where else can you buy from? I'd appreciate whatever advice you could give.

Dimis 23rd March 2011 02:20 PM

My name is not Reaps but i've had my share of purchases. :) DTM.at has a very solid system for in-stock items. Trust me, this is not the case with many other websites. However delivery takes 3 weeks no matter what.

Another shop with good range is beyond-media.at and you can pay there with Paypal which is what i will be using in the future. However the stock is not guaranteed and you need to ask them before you place an order.

omg-entertainment.nl is my favourite of all in terms of service but not the greatest range of items.

Thanks, Dimis :). Which of them is the best for customer services and online security? And do any of them ask for anything like credit card statements, like some online dvd etailers?

I have ordered many times from OMG and they're great.
But they don't really focus on German/Austrian releases (they do have some).
However you can always mail them about titles you'd like.

I've had great service from OMG and DTM, but for personal reasons - i am not suggesting this has to do something with that shop - i will not buy from a smaller online shop any longer unless i can pay with Paypal. So when it comes to German labels that leaves me with beyond-media, and OMG for labels such as Camera Obscura and any dutch releases.

I've just been on the Eightyfour website and it looks like the Dellamorte Dellamore BD has been postponed. Apparently they weren't happy with the transfer.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 6th April 2011 06:33 PM

Ach,pity that.:(
