Deadlier than the Male is also good, however the dvd is better value as it also has Some Girls Do with it as a double header. |
Shame there's still no sign of a release for Vampire Circus. |
3 Attachment(s) There are also releases for these three with Barbara Shelley, Hazel Court and Marisa Mell. All of which i shall pick up at some stage. |

1 Attachment(s) Anyone into British crime movies should check out Robbery. I've had the Studiocanal dvd for a few years now and have watched it a few times. This blu is apparently 1.66:1 which is it's correct aspect ratio. The dvd is 1.33:1. It's definitely one i'll upgrade when i eventually go blu-ray. |

Quatermass (John Mills) TV Series coming from Network If you go to the Network Home page: http://networkonair.com/ Click on the pop up detonator - and you get what appears to be a Hi Def trailer for the classic 1970s series of Quatermass with John Mills. Looks as though a little restoration has gone on for what is almost certainly an upcoming BD release. Day One for me. |
Network will be releasing Nigel Kneale's Quatermass series on Blu! Quote:

Network are overall releasing some fabulous titles on dvd/blu, are they open to suggestions? |
Quote:
Actually the suggestion part of that statement might well have been Odeon, not Network. |

The only one I have is Slayground. Pretty pathetic. Not the film though (some would disagree!) |

It's probably the worst movie adaptation of a Parker novel, but i still enjoyed it. |
Quote:
Having looked up the novels the only ones i've seen as films are Point Blank and Payback. Both based on the novel The Hunter. Also Parker starring Jason Statham. I had no idea Statham's Parker was the same character as the other films i've mentioned. All three excellent films in my opinion too. |
Quote:
There have been quite a few movies based on the Parker novels. Made in U.S.A. (based on The Jugger) Point Blank (based on The Hunter) Mise * Sac [“Pillaged”] (based on The Score) The Split (based on The Seventh) The Outfit (based on The Outfit) Slayground (based on Slayground) Payback (based on The Hunter) Parker (based on Flashfire) I need to seek out the rest there. |
