Anyone know whatever happened to the MIDNITE MOVIES range? Has it gone tits-up now that FOX are distributing MGM titles?
Some cracking titles were released on this label eh?

I have never bought one of the MM series. But i might buy Food of the Gods and Witchfinder General sometime over the next few weeks.

It looks that way Reaps sadly though I'd recommend the Warner Double bills including IT !/THE SHUTTERED ROOM & MOON ZERO TWO /WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH (uncut)(Both incidently will play on r2 locked machines)
I did not get all the Midnite Movies due to their rise in value but have:-
Planet Of The Vampires (Nice atmospheric Bava sci-fi)
The Beast Within (Nice to see it in its uncut glory)
Twice Told Tales
Cry Of The Banshee/Murders In The Rue Morgue
Scream & Scream Again (with original score now)/The Oblong Box
4 Skulls Of Johnathan Drake/Voodoo Island
Tales From The Crypt (uncut)/Vault Of Horror (cut)
Earth Dies Screaming/Chosen Survivors (well worth the wait this interesting film)
Witchfinder General (Lovely print with snippets of violence missing from the UK dvd.)
Devils Of Darkness/Witchcraft (A little seen British Don Sharp classic)
Return Of Dracula /The Vampire
The Haunted Palace /Tower Of London
Die Monster Die !/The Dunwich Horror
Fall Of The House Of Usher/Pit & The Pendulum
Masque Of The Red Death/The Premature Burial
Tomb Of Ligea /An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe
Panic In The Year Zero/Last Man On Earth
What's The Matter With Helen/Who Slew Auntie Roo ?.

I have the stand alone UK releases of others including The Phibes Films,Theatre Of Blood & Tales Of Terror. However, the UK releases of films like Pit & The Pendulum are missing commentaries & extras on the US discs I own.

I'm happy enough with the uncut I.L.C PRIME disc.Shame New World seem to have the rights to Humanoids From The Deep (actually it could be Disney come to think of it !)as otherwise it may have appeared on one of those Warner double bills !:(

The r1 disc of humanoids is now going for silly money...£30 on amazon.

That would be a cool midnite movies double bill, humanoids and galaxy.:)

The Deranged/Motel Hell double is a cracking set and goes down as one of my biggest bargains (£2 from a car boot sale!). Never got round to picking up any more but I liked the old school look of the packaging and artwork.
