Ah Get Stuffed!

I remember that early hours Classic.

I also have vague memories of a post-Prisoner time filler where Mr Bennet (ex Tony Hart's gallery) interviewed workers on the graveyard shift.

Nothing said time for bed now more the above, except perhaps Night Screen.

Picking out all the faces fom various Ozploitation films!

And as I recall, there were more than a few!

Excellent point!

I started a thread previously about film roles by cast members.

If anyone wants to add an info or links, you can find it HERE

Ep625-ish, I think.

The assassin breaks in to get info from Lisa Mullins - but cop Wendy Glover is there to protect her.
Wendy Glover was one of my fave characters from '86.

Thanks bud! I remember the boat episodes because it was such an unusual setting compared to the usual locations. Lisa Mullins, now she was a bit of a cutie! I remember the assassin having the worst Russian accent I've ever heard.

I started watching PCBH when I was about 11 or 12 and there was a gang of us at school used to get together and talk about the previous nights episode.

My favourite episode is 134 where the women pretend that they have forgot Lizzie's birthday! I think the late great Sheila Florence played the part with just the right amount of sadness and comedy and will never forget her sat in her paper hat singing happy birthday to herself! I can watch the episode over and over again.

For Drama there were so many that were great, but I think the power struggle between Bea Smith and Nola McKenzie were the best.

I started watching Prisoner around this time and I am so happy that the DVD's are being released so I can now see it from the beginning! I got the first 4 box sets together and hammered 82 episodes in a week lol. I'm now up to date with the box sets and am hoping that volume 6 is part of my birthday present next week.

In the words of Roy Castle, "That's dedication!" Can anybody else beat that?:)

.

Can you elaborate on why the boat episodes are considered notorious? It's been that long that i've seen them that my memory is slightly hazy.

Notorious as in....well...awful in places LMAO
Ah, who could forget the surreal feeling at 12.30 am on a Tuesday night watching afull 6 minutes of watching aboat sailing complete with boaty music? LOL

Thank God Spider was there to fill the 'baddie' void that Lou left.
If only Lou had lived long enough to kill Nancy bloody McCormack.

Oh, BTW, I just saw Steve Bastoni (Nancy's wife beating son) in Underbelly 3. Hewas really good.
