Any fans of the show on here?

I am a fan and I've been watching it on Netflix. For those not in the know its about 4 friends who run a small bar and are really nasty to each other. Each person tries their hardest to scam and make money from a bad situation.

It stars Danny DeVito and Charlie Day. I also feel sorry for Dee as she gets shit on by everyone.

Love the show and there are some real classic episodes. Watched all the seasons on Netflix and eagerly await the next one. Great writing on the show!

For a moment there i thought you was letting everyone know how good the weather was in Philadelphia .. how wrong i was.

One of my favourite shows ever.

This is my second favourite US comedy series right no (along with HIMYM). Some scenes are genuinely hard to each because they're so cringeworthy!

Season 10
 

Season 10 is up and running and looking good.

Yeah season 10 has been great so far. Charlie Work in particular was fantastic.

Dennis has been right on the edge this season. Season 10 has been brilliant so far.

The man-cheetah was brilliant!

What is this about seen it on Netflix and a few people grave recommended it.

Season one is basically four obnoxious arseholes (three men one woman) who own a bar and get into all sorts of messed up antics (titles such as Charlie Wants An Abortion, The Gang Get Racist, Charlie Gets Molested hint at the tone). Four become five from season two onwards with the addition of Danny De Vito's character Frank and amazingly it gets even more screwed up. Characters get addicted to crack, find a baby in a dumpster and make Lethal Weapon six. One, Charlie, writes a rock opera which has to be seen to be believed.

Personally I think its the funniest show on TV, although some don't like season one. Each episode is around 25 minutes long.

I watch this show over and over, always believed in it.... it was a shame it didn't really take off over here, I remember when they initially showed it on fx.

I first caught it on one of the cable channels and they just stopped showing it,like you say a shame considering some of the TV shows that do get aired over here.

It felt as though they were trying to allow it to fail over here, and there. The best U.S. shows are always either cancelled early on or not shown over here. There are some terrible shows that are hugely popular for being less than mediocre.

I first watched it on Netflix but before then I had never heard of it.

I always tell people to stick it out, I always liked season one but I've found, like you, others don't but it does go from strength to strength, I think some of the better episodes have come from the last few seasons.

The thing I like about it is there isn't a chance in hell you'll like any of the characters, obviously they're entertaining but they are the worst bunch of people ever, so many shows have to include likeable characters, people to empathise with but here it's just all bad.

The struggle is getting people past season 1, I think it is important to watch for background.

Charlie:We're gonna sell them to everyone in Philly.
Dennis:Who the hell's gonna want to buy them?
Charlie:Everyone's gonna want to buy them, everyone loves them, especially little kids.
Mac:Ew dude! Little kids?
Charlie:I'd love watching a kid do it.
Dennis: Dude, you are gonna get in a lot of trouble.
Charlie:Hell no, dude.
Charlie:It's not like I'm gonna do it without the parents' permission, I'll do everything Oh!
Dennis:No parent is gonna let you Where are you gonna go?
Charlie: The parents are gonna watch.
Charlie:They're gonna be so psyched They're gonna want to watch!
Dennis:What are you talking about?
Mac:Oh, we got to go overseas for that.
Charlie:That's as American as it getsThat's just No.No, you don't.
Charlie:Guys, you gotta think about this as a business venture, right? The three of us combine our ingredients, making, like, one gigantic, delicious cream pie, some little kid sucking it down and he's paying us for the pleasure.

Dennis is hilarious in season ten, he's on the verge of becoming a psychopath.

loved the water park episode

yeah definitely a season highlight for me also, the only episode I'm not to sure about was the one A Cricket's Tale, it was a bit meh until the ending which made up for it.
