What about this from Shameless? Would that original Hokushin artwork not look superb in one of those yellow shameless boxes?:cool:Obviously you'd need to use the inflammatory tagline 'she asked for it!' I have the pagan films release which is cut,but the picture quality is also rather shabby.....:( surely this would pass the bbfc these days? I'm sure the pagan dvd is now out of print,so perhaps the rights are up for grabs......this would be a real coup for shameless,especially with the aforementioned artwork,christ,I wouldn't just buy one copy.....everyone I know would get one for xmas and birthdays:D

What did the BBFC cut from the previous submissions?

It's alright I found details of the cuts - attempted rape scene as well as cuts to the bondage scene. Sounds like it would pass.

Yeah it is but whoever came up with that packaging should be shoved in a horse!

Yeah the pagan artwork was ridiculous,but the hokushin artwork?-one of the best exploitation covers ever!

I think it will still be cut - and the rights were very expensive, so it's unlikely a UK release would be worthwhile.

Avoid the Italian hardcore version. Not only are the inserts ugly but the great mood-setting gallery credits sequence is completely cut. It opens with credits over the range rover driving to the cottage.

I didn't know this had been released on dvd in the uk with the Violation title, i knew it had under the Coming of Sin monicker:

That dvd arrived through my lb this morning, sadly its just a bootleg of the Hokushin pre-cert:(

Actually VIOLATION OF THE BITCH is available to buy from the 11th of January from HB Films ((A DVD Label)as this title - COMING OF SIN. Details are on the HMV site, but i am not sure if it's uncut or not.

The last time it was submitted to the BBFC in 1999 it was cut by 1min 15 secs.

I think this will be the same print as the old UK Pagan release, as the same company are also releasing a number of other Pagan titles, including Murder In A Blue World.

It's the same guy, he's a friend of mine. They're re-releases.

I found a copy of SHOCK HORROR in a second hand store,wasn't in very good nick,but the VIOLATION OF THE BITCH artwork was handy to cut down to DVD size...;)

It it with some embarrassment and much amusement that I admit that I had no idea that the José Larraz film Coming Of Sin was the same flick as that tacky sleeved Hokushin release, Violation Of The Bitch!

How has that information passed me by?

It would be fantastic to see an uncut anamorphic DVD release of this one. I have to say that I really enjoyed it, and that had nothing to do with the lesbianism at all...

Yes indeed - though this was quite an obscure release - I only have the sleeve so I don't know which cut of the film it is but I'm fairly certain it would of remained heavily edited!

Not the first time a Euro Horror has been re-distributed and repackaged to appeal to the UK soft porn market...the wonderfully sleazy WEREWOLF WOMAN found itself in adult video sections and Soho shops (sometimes priced at £29.99) as NAKED WEREWOLF WOMAN - with a generic glamour model on the cover....

Wonder what the 'Dirty Mac Brigade' made of it :confused:

I've never seen it, but I've seen that artwork numerous times in books over the years. Is it out on DVD anywhere?
