Cheers Pete!
Now Shameless know where to shop!

Who'd be up for a Blu Ray on this?

Hawkmonger 26th May 2012 07:19 AM

Hell yeah!

If one were to be released, I'd certainly be interested to pick it up as a blind buy.

However, I don't see Shameless putting that much investment in a film which will have a very niche market – it'll be DVD or nothing at a guess.

Pete 28th May 2012 12:46 AM

Sorry, Reaps, but this film is terrible in every way possible. And not in a 'so bad it's good' way either.

I'm surprised anyone likes it at all.

Gojirosan 28th May 2012 12:50 AM

There are far, far better Sergio Garrone films in need of cleaning up and releasing...*puts on Stetson, boots and poncho...*

Agreed.

After seeing his westerns you'd find it really hard to believe he was the man responsible for SS EXPERIMENT and SS CAMP 5.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 26th June 2012 09:00 PM

As I say,it's Ex DPP 39 notoriety would ensure sales.

Anyway here's this month's reminder
Shameless!

Anyone who thought Andy Dufrense was relentless for library funds......;)

Just out of interest, what do you mean by 'normal edition'? Barebones dvd? Or just a dvd? Or something else? :)

I think he means he wouldn't by any edition, DVD or BD, and just doesn't like the film. I'm sure if I'm wrong, he'll let me know.

Ah! Yeah, I think you're right. Fair play etc

I think right now I'd chuck money at any new Shameless release as it feels like it's been ages since Dellamorte Dellamore came out. Really hope there's something special round the corner!

I trust you did the sensible thing and picked 'em both up. Yours truly definitely would if, in some miraculous moment they were seen on the shelves of some nondescript British retailer or another. On the provisor both copies were new 'n' sealed, of course. No secondhand titles for me.:nono:

My thoughts exactly and a DVD release would be fine by me.

I second that.:)

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 26th July 2012 09:58 PM

Obviously if the current Shameless title announcements are correct, then SS EXPERIMENT CAMP must be being worked on to get the best package available?

Travy 27th July 2012 12:30 AM

Oh I hope so.

SS Experiment Camp... Not seen it but i've heard all about it. If Shameless were to release it, I would definately purchase it.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 24th September 2012 09:19 PM

Yeah nice shout.
Time to rekindle this one again!

Hawkmonger 25th September 2012 07:25 AM

Even if we did get SS Experiment Camp we'd probably end up with another 'No Muff to Tough' situation.:loco:

Demoncrat 25th September 2012 04:52 PM

But its B O R I N G. Exploitation isn't meant to send you to sleep.....

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 25th September 2012 05:12 PM

Then it can join the ranks of many other 'exploitation classics'.
Far cheaper than buying mind numbing narcotics!
;)

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 26th September 2012 05:25 PM

So give us a cheap buzz Shameless! (That classic artwork!) and we'll be a happy nation once again!

ArgentoFan1987 27th September 2012 10:38 AM

It's a film I still haven't seen, but I've been meaning to buy it to see what all the fuss is about.

I said as much on an earlier page as that's exactly why I'd like Shameless to release this infamous title.

And a wee reminder how good this would look....

JAMIOUSE 21st November 2012 06:48 PM

I do wonder how the Nazi films would fair at the BBFC these days, I also wonder how they'd sell. Would people be afraid to go to the counter to buy these titles? It's not like taking New York Ripper to the counter, some of the Nazi films could raise eyebrows with sales staff.

The Blackhorse abomination of a disc passed uncut years ago mate.:)
I wonder how the others would fare indeed....

Wes 21st November 2012 06:53 PM

I have to say it's one of the weaker entries on the Nasties list and is pretty dull in comparison with Gestapo's Last Orgy and Red Nights of the Gestapo. Of the more memorable moments of the film, even more so than the balls line (and crucially the guy doesn't realize he's been emasculated until he goes to make it with his lover) is the shot of naked bodies burning in a crematorium - a truly weird moment in the annals of European Trash Cinema, as the bodies awkwardly jerk their limbs like puppets writhing in the flames...

Ah I saw this in HMV the other week and passed it up, assuming it'd be cut.

Wasn't there a very unofficial UK DVD of Love Camp 7 as well ? Now that is a genuinely grimey concentration camp flick...

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 21st November 2012 07:17 PM

It is.And it was made long before the others!

I've always wanted to see this but like so much other stuff, it has escaped me so far. Isn't it directed by Lee Frost, a highly underrated director in my book.

Wes 21st November 2012 08:22 PM

Directed by Lee Frost but it's exploitation-producer extraordinaire Bob Cresse's show all the way - apparently he was a major Nazi fetishist (?) and looks genuinely absorbed during the whipping scenes. David Friedman pops up as well in one scene and the film is well worth seeing for its sheer scuzziness...
