Should Shameless give this a UK release?

How good would these look on yer shelves? :woot:

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 24th February 2011 09:21 PM

I can only imagine what the artwork would look like!

Even though Blackhorse released this uncut in 2005, I have the uncut AWE release (in the Nazisploitation box set) and I'd be interested in seeing what Arrow could do with it, too.

As Nazisploitation goes, it's actually fairly tame but an alright watch - it would be great to see some more of these notorious Nazi shockers uncut on UK DVD; even though I can't see The Beast in Heat or Gestapo's Last Orgy making it through the BBFC unscathed!

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 24th February 2011 09:38 PM

Hmm,don't know mate.BEAST is laughably bad.

The blackhorse dvd of this is the lowest of the low!

It passed uncut as well didn't it?

The artwork on that release is diabolical.A lot of thought and effort went into that one!

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 24th February 2011 09:45 PM

Beast is laughable, but I actually quite like it! :loco:

Yep, this one was passed uncut at 18. You're right about the Blackhorse DVD cover too: not exactly a work of genius!

:ack:

Pete 25th February 2011 10:32 AM

Nah I'd rather Arrow went for something else, most the nazisploiters are awful (though, BEAST IN HEAT and NAZI LOVE CAMP 27 aren't too bad).

That Blackhorse release is a bootleg btw.

I second that and gave the Blackhorse edition a miss due to the label's dubious pedigree. Yours truly also owns AWE's release in the same box set as well as the R1 DVD but any potential Arrow incarnations of Nazi nastiness would indeed be interesting to check out.
Add Women's Camp 119 to the list for my money!:)

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 26th February 2011 05:00 PM

It beggars belief that no one has used that GO! artwork for a DVD release!

One of the most striking artwork creations ever!

And no,I'm not Adolf@Cultlabs !

Are you referring to the one with the painted on bra, or the one where she is topless?

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 28th February 2012 06:59 PM

That's the reverse sorted then!

I think I'll need to watch how I answer this Suz......;):)

ReturnToZero 28th February 2012 07:29 PM

All at BBFC would die if they watched this and therefore it will pass uncut.

It went through uncut back in 2005 after the BBFC more or less acknowledged it was shit.

Demdike@Cult Labs 28th February 2012 09:55 PM

I already have this as part of a Shriek Show box set.

Whilst i'm glad i own it, i wouldn't buy it again. A case of Shameless too late on the bandwagon really.

Yeah I thought it passed unscathed.

Pete 28th February 2012 10:42 PM

There's nothing in it to trouble them.

BEAST IN HEAT would possibly be cut. LOVE CAMP 7 definitely would

Did you enjoy Women's Camp 119 that much mate? I fell asleep when I watched it on the Grindhouse Experience Vol. 2 box. Should I give it another shot?

Oh, and Bizarre Eye...love your sig photo, mate! Starcrash FTW!

Demoncrat 29th February 2012 10:19 AM

P A S S. one of the few films ive turned off. (saw it fully later)
an excellent cure for insomnia.
Shameless should stick to releasing unusual items, not unfairly infamous tripe.

all it is is a title.
TBIH is at least entertainingly shite.

Hammer time 29th February 2012 03:37 PM

Deported Women of the SS Special Section, Special train for Hitler need new dvds not experiment camp

Crimson Blade 29th February 2012 04:17 PM

I'd rather Shameless released something like The House That Screamed rather than this, which is already available in an excellent edition from AWE.
Personally, i think that out of the whole Nazi sub-genre, Gestapo's Last Orgy is the only title which has a bit of artistic merit, and is actually quite well made.

Drakie79 2nd March 2012 01:24 PM

I say that I would love a copy of the title on Shameless but would also be concerned over censorship. Damn censors!!!!!!!!!!

Pete 2nd March 2012 02:14 PM

Passed uncut back in 2005:

Title « British Board of Film Classification

:)

Vampix 2nd March 2012 10:29 PM

I've never seen SS Experiment Camp but I've heard about it.Is this the film where a bloke is castrated and demands to know, "What have you done with my balls!?"

Yes it is, but if you're in the right mood it can be a lot of fun.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 3rd March 2012 05:41 PM

Would be an excellent addition to the Shameless range of Eurotrash!

saw 3rd March 2012 05:46 PM

From what I recall, people who bought the Blackhorse release said the disc didn't contain SS Experiment Camp at all, but some dodgy Laura Gemser film instead.

I'm a fan of this film and own the Media Blasters release, but an upgrade would be welcome.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 3rd March 2012 05:53 PM

Welcome Saw,welcome!

Yeah the first Blackhorseshit run did contain that I believe!

I passed this suggestion onto Shameless and good news Reaps, they have and are still considering SS Experiment Camp as a future release, along with possibly some Michele Saovi goodies too. But who knows if anything will come of it - personally I would love it to, but only time will tell.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 5th March 2012 07:31 PM

Well done young man!

'Bout time this scuzzy z grade trash was given a UK outing,if nothing else, for the uproar, controversy and heart attacks it caused to the moral guardians!

Ol' Mary will be spinning in her grave!

Get thinking of those taglines!

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 5th March 2012 07:31 PM

How about......

THE FILM IT TOOK 'BALLS' TO RELEASE!'

Outrage at sick Nazi DVDs for sale

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 6th March 2012 11:04 PM

Yeah a ****ing joke, isn't it Mas?

These idiots need to take a look out their doors and windows and see what's happening in the streets before they go off on bloody rants about so-called video 'nasties'.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 6th March 2012 11:07 PM

You see Shameless,adverse advertising.

Free, strongly worded and causes a stir.

Is there any better type? ;)

Paul@TheOverlook 7th March 2012 02:24 AM

A big yes from me.

Vampix 7th March 2012 10:12 AM

I'd buy a Shameless copy of SS Experiment Camp just to hear that immortal line, "What have you done with my balls!" Also, to piss off Daily Express readers!

iluvdvds@Cult Labs 9th March 2012 12:24 PM

Hell yeah I'd buy this!

Sure it's not the greatest film ever made, but it sure as hell is a lot of fun! I'd snap it up straight away  C'mon shameless, release a Naziploitation trilogy ;)
