Any other GET CARTER fans? Bleak stark and brutal with one of the most downbeat endings in British movie history.Class from start to finish.

OH NO! I KNEW someone was gonna mention that!  Now someone's gonna say 'I actually prefer......'  THE ITALIAN JOB THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING THE IPCRESS FILE ZULU ALFIE THE EAGLE HAS LANDED DRESSED TO KILL ESCAPE TO VICTORY MONA LISA are also timeless classics. Other's which may not be in the same league,but are still enjoyable IMHO are; THE HOLCROFT COVENANT BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN FUNERAL IN BERLIN BATTLE OF BRITAIN A BRIDGE TOO FAR TOO LATE THE HERO PULP THE HONORARY CONSUL THE JIGSAW MAN THE BLACK WINDMILL EDUCATING RITA BLAME IT ON RIO THE FOURTH PROTOCOL The man has made so many movies. And before anyone mentions Jaws The Revenge,as the man himself has said,'Everyone has a mortgage to pay...'

| The Last Valley was another good Caine film. Equally good John Barry score too. Surprisingly his two Oscar winning roles are never mentioned by fans as being among his best. I liked Hannah And Her Sisters but found The Cider House Rules a bit of a chore. |

Can't wait for Caine's new Death Wish/Gran Torino hybrid,HARRY BROWN. Ageing Vigilante? Check Chav violence? Check Revenge and retribution? Check Jack Carter crossed with Paul Kersey? GIMME SOME OF THAT!

Yeaahh Sir Michael Caine IS a living legend!  "You are supposed to blow those bloody doors off!" Classic quote from The Italian Job!  I have over 40 Michael Caine films in my DVD library and already seen about 30 films of his! :-D I also liked his film Get Carter - one of the greatest British gangster film of all time! Seen it 3 times! I also liked "The Fourth Protocol" alomg with the future James Bond star - Pierce Bronsan! The Man Who Would Be The King is an excellent film and I have seen it twice! Anybody who haven't seen it SHOULD do! I assure you won't be disappointed seeing this film!
