Found thtis little nugget of info over at blu-ray.com. Edgar wright says he is recording a commentary for his fake trailer from Grindhouse. I'd really like it to happen but I'll believe it when I'm holding a copy in my hand.

Looking forward to this if it's true, but doesn't the idea of a Blu-Ray sit a bit uncomfortably with the whole Grindhouse idea (shitty print etc).

It'll take something special to improve on the Japanese DVD set.

Did anyone else ever catch the full Grindhouse experience on the big screen? Great movie.

The BD's of the separate films actually look pretty good (or should that be bad) with the scratches etc.

Not such a great fan of Planet Terror, although I thought Death Proof was excellent .. the end scene alone is worth the purchase!! Hilarious.

I would buy a complete package though if it did come out .. I am sure there would be some nice collectors editions out.

I saw the full Grindhouse experience on the first night of release, in a cinema on 42nd St in NYC. It was unbelievable - completely sold out screening with a boisterous crowd... exactly as it was meant to be seen! I saw it again when they screened it at Frightfest up here in Glasgow.

The Japanese boxset will take some beating but I might be tempted to pick it up on blu if the complete package was released over here. Haven't given my Japanese set a whirl for a while actually... might have to give it a watch again soon.

I got the Jap set. Had it from the time it was released

its a awesome set and I love it.

These movies on BD dont really make me want them much as they are mean to look all old, the US blu's of the 2 movies on thier own had a scratch free version which looked very good but ruined the grindhouse "look"

I'm in but I'd rather have a Blu of the Jap Kill Bill cut. I've got a feeling I'll be hanging on to that dvd for a good while.
