A vert important addition! It's a shame when a store network can't give you what you want there and then - that's why they should be able to charge a premium for that service.

Had a glance through DVD Review when I was in WHSmith today and there was a review of the new Blu-ray which raved about the transfer but said the extras were rubbish (aside from the commentary)

Whilst no doubt the latest Hollywood Ballbuster got rave reviews for extras with talking heads blowing sunshine up each others arses.

As I've said in the past Loops...cheaper than Andrex that rag!

DVD Review know all about rubbish. They talk enough of it.

DVD Review was a decent enough mag when it first launched - even giving favourable reviews of the likes of Anchor Bay's Tenebrae. Then, I guess, when the freebies started rolling in from the big studios, they suddenly went all Hollywood-loving and that's when I stopped buying it. I like a Hollywood Blockbuster as much as the next man - but some of their rave reviews were for films that were clearly rubbish.

Spot on D!

Smaller companies find it hard enough to get good sales on DVD's without the likes of 'The Hollywood Tatler' doling out nonsense!

I remember they slagged off the Texas Chainsaw Massacre blu ray because it looked grainier, more 16mm like than the dvd.

Finally sat down and gave it a watch. All reviews are spot on.

The picture is gorgeous! Blacks are rich and colors are really vibrant. Contrast is still too hot though. Still, this is the best this classic has ever looked and Goblin sounds beautiful in hi-rez surround sound. I prefer this one to the Italian release.

Can't wait to get my hands on the disc and give it a spin.I saw a comparison between the Italian and UK discs.Looks like a lot of the problems have been corrected.
