Oh, just noticed that the image on the BD cover is the same as the recently released region 1 dvd (below, left). 88's Subspecies discs use the same art as the US ones on the front and should have the original artwork on the reverse, so I'm confident (hopeful anyway!) that Dollman will use the original version on the reverse.

Too true. With the Puppet Master, Subspecies, Dollman, Demonic Toys and Trancers films all being given lovely HD makeovers, it's happy days for Full Moon fans, and we have both Full Moon in the US, and 88 Films over here to thank for it. Good times.
