It's a Charles Band produced title, and released on dvd in the states by Full Moon.

That's an Empire Pictures title and I think MGM currently hold the rights to it. Hard to believe it was cut by nearly 2 minutes on UK video by the BBFC.

mgm that's a shame cant see them giving it a region 2 release

Not sure yet if the rest of the movies will be blu-rays (although I know they will be released on dvd), but 88 Films will be releasing Trancers on blu-ray!!!! And yes, it will be a remastered version, not just the crappy laserdisc transfer that has been put out on disc before.
