Spider Forest (2004) South Korean psychological thriller/horror. When TV producer Kang Min (Woo-seong Kam) comes round in the middle of a forest, he stumbles across a cabin. Inside, he finds his girlfriend Su-yeong (Kyeong-heon Kang) dying from stab wounds, along with the body of a man who's been brutally murdered. Giving chase to a shadowy figure he sees leaving the scene, Kang enters a tunnel, only to be knocked down by a speeding car. Waking in hospital, with the police viewing him as a prime suspect, Kang is troubled by the gaps in his memory about the night of the murder, and sets out with local girl Min Su-jin (Jung-Suh) to investigate rumours that the wood, Spider Forest, is haunted. 8/10 This film is brilliant and I will buy it asap, the only reason I haven't given this full marks is the fact I need to re-watch it to look deeper into it .... kind of how I had to watch audition or tale of two sisters a few more times ...... Anyway, great film and I highly recommend it. Any thoughts on this one? |
