I have never seen the film but my girlfriend loves it and even i know that looks really bad.

It's just been announced in Variety that Steven Spielberg has given his blessing for a re-make of JAWS.

J.J Abrams is directing apparently. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

I can't, and don't. 5 months ago he said there would never be a remake of Jaws. I doubt his position has changed.
