I posted this somewhere else but I'll repeat it here..
Having now experienced some of the changes (and I'll happily call them that) first hand thanks to the 'restored' trailer being on THE MUMMY'S SHROUD (which looks absolutely fantastic btw), I had no previous issue with the entrance of The Angel Of Death and now I must say, bathed in blue ethereal light, it looks like it's coming down from heaven rather than a demon from hell. I think it was far more effective coming out of the dark and if they wanted to do anything, it should have been more in keeping with the scenario. Where do those pointless flames come from too? Hammer obviously never felt that bad about the blank background to include it in the TV Spot that is also on the disc.
