The Mummy (Karl Freund, 1932) and
Creature From The Black Lagoon (1953, Jack Arnold).
TM terrified me as a child, sadly can't say that this is the case anymore, but still, a great understated performance by Karloff at the centre of
any film will keep me happy.
CFTBL was also another childhood terror, but I now see that it's a love story. I've had
The Creature Walks Among Us in the house for a while, now all I need is
Revenge and I can watch them in order. Am not really what you'ld call a completist (burn the heretic etc etc
), but I makes an effort once in while.
