As the trailer for LO had made me chuckle severely, I tried to go into it with an open mind. This did not survive the pre credits sequence. I give up with these bloody films really. Never mind that it all seemed like an attack on alternative lifestyles (IMHO)..... Thankfully it seemed like no sequel possible, but with the amount that it has made, the inevitable follow up will no doubt be with us at some point. Made me think fondly of
The Babadook ahem.

31, at mate's insistence. While he was quite taken with its grotty vibe, I was bored to tears with this by-the-numbers water treading. I'm sure in his own mind he is reinventing the genre, but this will be the last of his tripe that I will sit through.
