Powerhouse have just confirmed on Facebook that their
Jason will indeed be exactly the same disc as was sold by HMV, at least in terms
of the machine-readable side.
As with Arrow's deal with MGM that allowed them to include the already-released
Annie Hall and
Manhattan in their Woody Allen boxes, Sony was only prepared to let them redistribute the pre-existing disc, not to author a rival edition. But that's fair enough.
