I've read The Dirt as well Rik. To me they are laughable shite (Hanoi Rocks betterer COUGH) but it's important for me to see all of music in context.
That's how much I love music. Hence reading a book on the West Coast scene that came out of the country rock sub genre at the end of the 60s. For me this helps put so many other elements of this period (glam rock, prog, punk ETC
) in context.
