Another viewing for Umberto Lenzi's notorious gut muncher. But this time on Blu-ray.

What follows is the usual shenanigans you can expect in these films, nudity, rape, gore, including a native chowing down on a rubber leg,  and the obligatory real animal slaughter that is fully on show in Severin's uncut presentation.
Not a great film by any means, and with dreadful dubbing as well.
But it's still fun to watch like a lot of these old Italian films are. 6 out of 10. |
