Russell Mulcahy's visual style of direction makes this an excellent film.
The Queen songs are great and go well with the film's theme.
The only bad point is the stupid American dubbing just to appease the dumb US audiences, who were confused by the film, and it was re-editied so Sean Connery narrated the film to tell the dummies what was going on!
The ridiculous dubbing is of course nothing new...HELLRAISER comes to mind.
