If you had a chance - would you live in the mansion of Resident Evil without all the zombies and other horrors?

Just seen the first one again and really enjoyed it. I was wondering what you thought of the sequel.

Brilliant new avatar Pedro. Hans Moleman (actually it could be Abe) is one of my favourite characters. Its quite small, it is Abe Simpson isn't it, not Hans.? Oh well nevermind.

Good luck with that ped - it's hard to get a break nowadays with the volume of review sites around. Have you tried contacting 10,000 Bullets? I think they usually take on reviewers through the strength of their blogs... could be worth a shot if you can't find distributors willing to send you screeners.

I'll be sure to check 'em out.

I admire your blog tenacity; I gave up on mine a while ago, I often ponder starting it up again (or at least writing a review every so often).

I've just been checking out your blog - nice review of Night Train Murders (and I completely agree with you on your assessment of LHOTL too).

Another really good film that uses the LHOTL formula (and again is better than Craven's effort imo) is Last House on the Beach with Florinda Bolkan and Ray Lovelock. If you liked NTM you should definitely check it out mate.

Zombie films, there are so many and alot of
them have a reputation, The Video Dead is one of them. Made in 1987 for televison, it was bound to have a low budget and was restricted in what it could do with that budget. The film has some interesting ideas too.

THE PLOT:
An unlabelled crate from an unknown source is delivered to a house in the woods. The homeowner...

THE DEATH AND RE-BIRTH OF A SUB GENRE

BY PEDROMONKEY
