Video Violence 2 (1988, Gary Cohen)
Sneaking this one in here as it had a "Xmas ad" in it
Sequel utilising some of the cast from the first. Tonally
very different to the first ( the more I think about it, the more it goes into the pantheon tbh) to reasonable effect. Both I will say are top tier for this genre, even if some of the humour in this one falls a bit flat. Cursed with knowledge as I am, maybe having seen this, say, even a decade ago, might have improved iit's standing.
I digress.
Welcome to the world of ... entertainment. A chatshow with a difference. FX still very out standing imho. Obviously compared to an Ittenbach flick, it's like a Disney film, but still .... like the parent, worth a butchers ....
