True, but I think Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Trance and T2: Trainspotting were very strong and engaging films. I haven't seen the Steve Jobs biography.

Jobs is very good, Nos.

Thing is, it's Bond - Eon owns Bond - any competent filmmaker can do a decent job - I shouldn't imagine it will be much like a Boyle film.

I'm a fan - Slumdog is up there with his best work - Trance was a great thriller too. To me he's incapable of making a bad film - A Life Less Ordinary, The Beach and T2 are probably his weakest and they're all still very enjoyable.

there will never be a greater Bond than Sean connery. do not like Daniel craig at all. he is dull and boring just like his films. i even would rather have Timothy dalten as his first film with the czech girl Myriam dabo was most enjoyable.

After all the discussion about the merits of Danny Boyle as a filmmaker, Bond 25 is looking for a new director.

The official James Bond Twitter account tweeted:
"Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25."

Cary Joji Fukunaga to direct next Bond film | BBC News

He's the guy behind the Netflix series 'Maniac'

I considered the first series of True Detective to be superb long form storytelling and [B]Beasts of No Nation[/B a fantastic film which] should have been theatrically released and not only on Netflix. It will be really interesting to see if there is a discernible difference between this Bond film and the previous couple or whether it's a formula in which the director is largely sidelined by the constraints of the character and script.

Barbara Broccoli speaking to The Guardian.

Bond is male. He's a male character. He was written as a male and I think he'll probably stay as a male.

And that's fine. We don't have to turn male characters into women.
